Spring Break

I decide to go spend spring break in Nampa with my mom. We had a fun week. My brother and his wife had just had a baby so I got to see him and we got to go to my neice Kiersten's birthday. Plus I got to go to a way fun concert at what used to be the Big Easy in Boise but is now lamely called the Knitting Factory. Lamo. But the concert rocked. My sister in law Zan is friends with this girl Krystal and she is lead singer in a band called Good Mourning. (nope I didn't spell that wrong) So that was SO fun. And that was my week. It was not near long enough but at least summer vacation is not to far off. I am hoping to make a trip up to Pasco to visit all my dear friends. I miss you all.

Update

Life has unfortunatley gone back to normal since our trip. Emma constantley says "I wanna go back to the ship". All I can say is "me too!" So we have been pretty much doing the same routine around here. Spring break is next week so the kids and I are going to Nampa to visit my parents and friends up there. Luke has been doing alot of ice fishing. The other night he and his friend Carl brought home 90 fish. No that is not a typeo I did say 9-0. Crazy. They were just little fish called perch but they are so yummy. After we got back I was lucky enough to throw a baby shower for my friend Paula who just adopted her second child. A litte boy named Zander so there are some pictures of that. I made my first diaper cake and am adicted to who ever is having a baby let me know so I can make one for you too. Ü
So that's about it for us. Nothing to crazy to report. I will be interviewing on monday for a Phlebotomy possition at the hospital so keep your fingers crossed.

Disney Trip (Long Post)

As promised here is the slide show of our fabulous trip. We had so much fun and wanted to stay longer but it is always nice to be home. Even if it is FREEZING.

Our first day we went to Animal Kingdom we had lots of fun riding on rides and enjoying some warm weather. We went on a water rapids ride and the two people to get the wettest ended up being Riley and Emma. Emma was not happy about that. Our second day was spent at Magic Kingdom. It really is Magical. The kids loved going on rides and seeing all the characters. Unfortunately Emma hated splash mountain. Our third day was at MGM which is now call Disney's Hollywood studios. Lots of fun. We took Riley on Tower of Terror. He was scared at first but loved it after it was done. That night we went to Epcot because Al & Trace had rented a terrace for our family to watch the illuminations show. Before the show started we went on a ride call test cars or something. Well we waited in line for 45 minutes and right when it was almost our turn Emma had a little accident luckily she had a pull up on so we went on the ride any way. Well right when we got finished with the ride it shut down because of some glitch in the system so we had to sit it our car for like 10 minutes waiting. When we finally got out poor Emma's clothes were wet and yucky. So I went to clean her up and Luke went to buy her a new outfit. When we tried to pay for the outfit they told us to keep it for free because Luke had explained what happened. I was so thankful I almost started crying. That is where the picture of the lady came from who was our hero. The next day we went back to Animal Kingdom until it was time to catch our bus to take us to the ship. We went on a safari and saw lots of animals. Then it was on to this ship for our cruise. Our first day we stopped in the Bahamas and enjoyed going to the aquarium, and swimming at the beach. Emma got her hair braided and looked so cute. The next day we went to Disney's private island. That was fun and beautiful. We snorkeled and played and relaxed in the hot sun. The shows at night on the ship were so fun and the kids loved them. We wanted to stay of another week but I guess it was time to come home. We had a wonderful time. Thank you to our family for such a wonderful trip.

Disney Trip

Don't worry we made it home alive! My pictures are downloading as I type and will take about 2 hours to load for the slide show. They are coming. I just wanted to make a quick note to let you all know we are home and I am freezing. I want to go back to 85 degree weather and instead I woke up to 2" of snow. uh... So stay tuned for pictures.

Mamma Mia!

So I know I am slow watching this but I did finally see it and now it is like my new favorite movie. Except of course for Twilight, my one true love. So after watching Mamma Mia I immediately went to itunes and downloaded the sound track and now it is all I listen to at home and my Twilight sound track is all I listen to in my car. I know, I know..... I am pathetic!

Big Girl Bed.

Oh my goodness. My baby girl is so big now. My cousin had an extra twin bed so they gave it to us. We set it up last night and Emma got to sleep in it. She only fell out once. But sometime in the night she went and got in bed with Riley which is pretty normal. She looked so tiny sleeping in her new bed. This spring when it is not freezing outside I want to paint it, but until then it will stay as it is. And sometime before she graduates High school I would like to make her some bedding but for now I just bought a princess quilt since we are going to Disney world because she is totally into all the princesses right now. Riley of course had to be in all the pictures too.
