Happy Birthday Crazy Lady!

I have to say Happy Birthday to my dear friend Holli (you old fart.) Today is her golden birthday. I hope we can go on a fun birthday trip this weekend! Thank you for being my friend and teaching me how to have confidence in myself. You are the best and I love you forever!

I finished my stockings and have to say, I love them. I am not much of a sewing girl but these actually turned out good. I wanted to add jingle bells on the toes but I think they will be to heavy and pull the toe down so they will have to stay as they are.

The kids were shoveling snow the other night and so I grabbed some pictures. Emma decided she needed to keep her dress up on, so notice the mermaid tail beneith her coat.
Our pretty lights.

We had a little Christmas party with my family to exchange gifts. It was so fun to be all together.

Cute little Levi
Ry's hulk gloves. Thank you sooo much Aunti Megan.

Merry Christmas!

Let it snow * let it snow * let it snow!!

We woke up to snow on Saturday and of course had to go play. I love this time of year and almost dread Christmas day because I don't want this season to be over. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season.

My cute snowman candybars for my visiting teaching sisters. Thanks Momma Trace for the idea!

Christmas time is here

I thought I would post some of our Chritmas decor. This little Nativity scene I got out of the Friend and we made it for FHE and talked about the real Christmas story. The kids had a ball. Then we made paper snowflakes and hung them from the ceiling.

Here is our pretty tree. The kids helped decorate so alot of the ornaments are at their eye level and Emma always stuck them in the same spot so there are clusters but I loved it so I didn't change it. And here is my mantle. My mom and I made those cute snowmen and then I just made that stocking board. Now all I have to do is make the stockings!
My wonderful Nativity set. I love this Set and have wanted it for years and I got a few pieces at a time and now it is complete. Except for one more set of stars.
My wreath I made at Enrichment in WA and my christmas list board.
oh and Emma of course needed to take a picture too. I decided to post it to show how crazy long my hair is getting. I'm at that point where I don't know if I keep letting it get longer or chop it. What to do?
Here is an update on the ankel. These pictues were taken Sat. 3 days after the injury took place.
oooh so pretty
even worse
nice kancle right?

Hop Along

Well on Wednesday we celebrated Riley's 6th birthday. We decided to go to this new place called Hop to it! The kids had an absolute ball. So did I, until.... guess who was the one crying being carried off the toys? That's right, it was me, not one of the kids. While helping my cute niece up one of the slides I lost my balance and came down on my ankle. I thought for sure it was broken after the POP I had heard but it turns out to just be a bad sprain. What a pain! So now I am the "hop a long". I still can barely walk and I have an icepack strapped to my ankle most of the time. What a baby. The pictures are pretty cool though it was nasty swollen the first day. The pictures I took last night the swelling had gone down a little but the black and blue is setting in. Who knew playing with the kids could be so dangerous. Ü But Riley had a wonderful party. He was so sad I got hurt and said "I don't like it when mom's get hurt". He is such a tender heart. I cannot believe my baby boy is 6. Happy Birthday Riley I love you so much!

Black Friday

I survived another year of shopping! After waking up at 3:30am to be to Walmart by 4am we found the things we wanted and WAITED and WAITED. So I almost got trampled but got what I needed. Some lady got her purse stolen right off her shoulder during all the commotion. Crazy. Then it was off to Target where the one thing I wanted (dual DVD players for the car) was already gone. But by some amazing coincidence my sister saw a guy working there who had 2 that he was putting away. She snagged them both. 2 portable DVD players w/ straps to go on the back of the head rests. For $88. I was more excited then the kids for that one. Now there will be no more fighting over who gets to hold the DVD player. They each have their own screen now. Of course Emma likes to make Riley mad by looking at his screen even though she has one right in front of her face but they have to have something to argue about right? All in All it was a successful Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

Reguarly $179.99 I got it for $88!!!!
